Lakota Wolf Preserve: Photo Class & Workshop (morning session)
November 18 @ 6:00 pm - November 19 @ 12:00 pm
Join Tamron & Dan’s Camera City, and get ready to capture the wildlife pictures of a lifetime in an outdoor setting that’s superb for photographers. Your photo experience at Lakota Wolf Preserve includes packs of Tundra, Timber, and Arctic wolves in a natural setting. You’ll also see the bobcats and foxes which live on the reserve in the mountains of the Delaware Water Gap in Knowlton Township, Warren County, NJ.
In our classroom:
You’ll start with a class led by Tamron Field Services Manager Ken Hubbard. He’ll discuss tips and techniques for great wildlife photos, including:
- Proper use of telephoto and all-in-one zoom lenses
- Choosing a composition for a strong impact
- Making the light work for you, and more.
On location at Lakota Wolf Preserve:
On Tuesday we’ll meet up at our destination, the Lakota Wolf Preserve, where we will spend several hours on location photographing the wolves of Lakota with exclusive access just for our students. Our photo experts will be right there with you for hands-on guidance and feedback. Then we’ll wrap up with a free wine tasting at Brook Hollow Winery. Free Tamron lens loaners will be available for use throughout the event.
You must be at least 16 years of age to participate in this workshop, 21 or older to participate in the wine tasting.
