April 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Our season continues with our inspiring Bach at Noon series and our last performance this season in Bethlehem. Gather with us for this free concert series, a musical gift to our community. Hear members of the Bach Choir and Bach Festival Orchestra along with exciting guest artists. Enjoy insightful and enlightening remarks by Christopher Jackson, Artistic Director and Conductor of the Bach Choir. The April Bach at Noon concert was named in honor of the singers of the Bach Choir of Bethlehem during the 100th Bach Festival Season, 2006-2007, and all Bach Choir alumni. The concert is supported in part by generous endowment gifts from these choir members and choir alumni who have given of their treasure as well as their time and talent so that future generations of musicians and listeners can enjoy Bach at Noon.

Following each of our monthly Bethlehem Bach at Noon concerts at Central Moravian Church, guests are invited to stay for a free guided tour of this historic sanctuary. Built between 1803-1806, this remarkable space is the third place of worship for Bethlehem’s Moravian community.
Discover the architectural beauty of the sanctuary, the deep connection to the history of music and worship, unique spaces like the 2nd floor Kleiner Saal, and the ongoing traditions of Central Moravian Church. Tours will begin immediately after each concert and last approximately 30 minutes. As Bethlehem celebrates its new UNESCO World Heritage Site designation, there’s no better time to explore this living landmark!

Board President Harold Black and his wife, Allison, have offered a $1,500 challenge gift this month to honor them and commemorate our final Bethlehem Bach at Noon Concert of the season. They will match $1,500 of your Bach at Noon donations this month, essentially doubling the impact of your contributions.
