Pittsburgh’s Spring Vegan Festival

FREE ADMISSION – ALL ARE WELCOME
Sat. April 20. All are invited to this free admission, vegan, spring festival, with lots of traditional activities, vendors, artists, food trucks, a dog park and more.
If you are not familiar with Beltane, please still attend and enjoy this Spring Festival.
Enjoy Beltane Traditions:
-Make a Flower Crown to wear and take home, using fresh flowers
-Dance around the May Pole, weaving ribbons around it as you dance with others, celebrating nature, fertility, spring and summer
-Crowning of the May King & May Queen (whoever gets the special pastry containing a hidden symbol will be crowned)
-Crowning of the *Doggy May King & May Queen (well, that’s not an old tradition, but, we’re starting it now! 😍)
-Dress up for the occasion, if you wish (you and/or your dog)! Fairy, Butterfly, Ladybug, flower, a Beltane/Spring God or Goddess, or other festive character
Also enjoy:
-Performances
-Bellydance & Sacred Dance Recital by Students of Amethyst
-Bubbles
-Kayak rentals may available through a separate company
-and more
Vendors may sell food, dessert, drinks, festive items, spring items, altar and spiritual items, art, candles, soap, bodycare, books, clothing, jewelry, services, handmades, dog treats, toys, stationary and much more.
All items must be vegan.

*Dogs must be on a leash. The Dog Crowning will be at the dog park. Time TBA. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor park, but are not permitted inside the building or under the semi-outdoor roofed area.
Everyone in the park must be respectful to the people, dogs and property. The park is for everyone. The park provides trash and recycle cans, and does not allow litter or damage. Fines may be charged to anyone not following rules.
Children and dogs MUST be under responsible adult supervision at all times, and are not permitted near the water or anywhere else on the property unsupervised.
