Join Colonial Gardens for our 9th annual Butterfly Festival! Walk through beautiful gardens, shop local vendors, and of course–enjoy our butterfly releases! Here’s what you need to know:
The Festival is free to attend and does not require advanced registration. Releasing a butterfly costs $10 (plus some service fees) and must be booked in advanced. Butterflies will go on sale exclusively online starting July 1st. **Beware of scammers: Never purchase tickets from anyone other than us.**
The Festival is centered around mass releases of monarch butterflies at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. 30 minutes before each release, we will have an educational seminar about monarch butterflies.
Local crafters and vendors will be located throughout the grounds. Please note that the event is entirely outdoors and includes gravel paths and uneven spaces that can be challenging for people using wheelchairs or walkers. Please give us a call at 610-948-9755 if you’d like more information about accessibility or accommodations.
Colonial Gardens is a garden center located in Phoenixville, PA that offers a huge selection of plants (including native plants!), landscaping services, and a florist. We also host family-friendly seasonal events throughout the year, but you are welcome to visit any time for beautiful flowers, gifts, and houseplants! We’re open 362 days a year!
