For the Ages: A Time Capsule Birthday Bash—an evening honoring our past, present, and future.

🎂 Birthday cake and champagne toast to follow

As part of this milestone celebration, we are creating a time capsule to be opened 120 years from now, in the year 2146. We invite guests to contribute a meaningful item that captures life today.

Time Capsule Contribution Guidelines:

~ Items must be two-dimensional (2D)

~ Maximum size: 10 x 17 inches

~ Items should be suitable for long-term preservation

How It Works:

~ Bring your item to the museum during the event

~ Our curators will complete the required donation paperwork

~Contributors will have the special opportunity to place their item into the time capsule themselves

Suggested items include:

~ A handwritten or typed letter to the future

~ Photographs of family, friends, or community life

~ A child’s drawing

~ A poem, story, or personal reflection

~ Newspaper clippings, programs, or event flyers

~ Artwork or documents that reflect life in Northampton County today

~ Free for Members

~ $15 for Non-Members
