Hot4Robot, Roi and the Secret People & Galen Deery Live at IceHouse PAC

Join us for a high energy night of all original, locally grown alt rock. The show will feature performances by three of the regions most engaging original rock artists – Hot4Robot, Roi and the Secret People and Galen Deery. The IceHouse Performing Arts Collaborative is the Lehigh Valley’s premiere artist-led venue, where artists produce shows according to their unique artistic vision.

Hot4Robot
Genre defying and fearlessly innovative, Hot4Robot takes listeners on a rock art odyssey of textured soundscapes, haunting melodies and evocative lyrics. Blending a colorful palette of alt rock, punk and new wave influences, Hot4Robot weaves its own unmistakable and fiercely unconventional sound.

Hot4Robot is the brainchild of celebrated solo artists Alex Radus and Dave Cahill, and also features the exceptional talents of Robbie Sko and Andy Janowiak. Radus is described as a “sullen sultry crooner” and “refined songwriter”, while Cahill is lauded for his “surreal” guitar work and compositions that evoke “post-apocalyptic, dystopian landscapes.”

Hot4Robot’s debut, self-titled concept album is a dark, whimsical and at times humorous exploration of humanity’s unrelenting pursuit of technological transcendence, merging thoughtful commentary with energetic and emotive alt rock delivery. Think a musical version of Netflix’s Black Mirror.

Roi and the Secret People
Roi and the Secret People are a high energy Alt/Rock band out of the Lehigh Valley, Pa. area. Their upbeat music is a blend of indie, classic and hard rock from both sides of the pond with hints to a southern feel.

Renowned for their exhilarating live shows, award winning rock band Roi and the Secret People (RSP) features songwriter Mike Roi on lead vocals and guitar, Ed Golden on guitar, AJ Siegfried on bass, Madelaine Elizabeth on vocals, violin and keys, and Pete Ciccone on drums. Roi, who hails from South Florida, has toured all across the country, lived and rocked in the cities of Philadelphia and New York, and finally put his roots down in Easton, PA.

Roi set out to assemble a group of talented, experienced, and like-minded musicians to create the version of rock-n-roll he was raised with, a mix of sultry swamp, classic rock, and alternative music. RSP has done numerous festival shows such as Musikfest, Libertyfest, Baconfest, Make Music NYC, Heritage Day, 5 Acrefest as well as many dates with smaller events and clubs. Their music has been described as somewhere between the Black Crowes and David Bowie.

Galen Deery
Galen Deery is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter from the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Pennsylvania USA. Founded in 2018, his previous project Mystik Fool continued to grow as the music was shared. Now, he has officially dropped all aliases and stepped into his own name. Galen grew up in a unique artistic household listening to bands like Janes Addiction, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Bobby McFerrin, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Rage against the Machine, Santana and so many more.

When he started writing songs, he found a combination of styles coming together from Rock to Reggae, Pop to alternative, and medicine music to prog. During his solo appearances the show uses a live looping experience where Galen builds each song from the ground up. Then, taking it to the next level by bringing the band on the stage and elevating the entire vibe of any room the music fills. Galen and the full band bring a unique flavor to live music and a mission to reintroduce lost ideas of sound.
