Krampus Run Easton is the very first Krampus free-for-all event in A.B.E.!
There are no leaders! There is no organization! There’s barely a plan!
But, there’s a general idea to show off our Krampus gear, love of Krampus lore, and generally have a great moment Krampus-ing about Easton’s Center Square and its ongoing Christmas Village.
Let’s gather on the Southeast Corner of Center Square (near Pearly Baker’s) and head out all together at exactly 8:30.
Here are a few facts to help you make your own plan for your own fun:
* There are a handful of bars steps away from Center Square that are suitable for a couple of warmup beverages. They include Pearly Baker’s, Mother’s, Stoke, and Rivals Sports Bar.
* KAMPUS: The Coven Darkwave Dance Party hosted by DJ Brad Scott Smith follows at 9:00 at the Lafayette Bar, 15 N. 14th Street. Prizes awarded for the best Krampusse!
* Angel’s House of Design,
430 Northampton St., is offering Photos with Krampus 6:00 – 8:00
* Wanna borrow a mask and some gear for the event? Contact Liz Keough for the loan of a mask, some fur, chains, and wearable Krampus odd-n-ends. There are several choices available.
SUGGESTED KRAMPUS CONDUCT:
DON’T: Over-indulge. Bring fire (Absolutely not!). Act obnoxious. Break anything. Hurt anyone. Touch anyone who you don’t know personally. Traumatize the faint of heart.
DO: Invite your friends. Take lots of photos. Hang around Easton to get some food, gifts, and fun.
Remember, Krampus may be a hideous, goat-demon, but he’s also a very ethical guy. So, make him proud or he’ll put you in a bag, haul you away, and eat you.
You alone are responsible for you.
