Paranormal Experience at the Historic Sayre Mansion in Downtown Bethlehem
Join Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 for a unique event at The Sayre Mansion. The evening will begin with a brief historic tour of the mansion followed by a dinner prepared by Chef Karen Hunter. A cash bar will be available. Once dinner concludes, we will discuss and elaborate on the various types of investigative techniques and the latest equipment used to conduct Paranormal Investigations. After, you will be led out to conduct your own paranormal investigation of the mansion, including the hot spots listed below:
Robert Sayre’s suite- Located on the first floor, this room features Mr. Sayre’s original office (part of the 1898 addition) which is still intact at the back of the room.
Room 23- This second floor space was the dressing room and sleeping quarters for the lady of the house and Mr. Sayre had four in his lifetime. Guests have reported seeing reflections of women in the mirror in this room.
Room 32- Located on the third floor, this room is said to be one of the most haunted spaces at the mansion. Guests have reported shadowy figures, sheets getting tugged on, and cold spots in this space.
The basement & original wine cellar- Dinner will be served in the spacious Asa Packer room which is the foundation of the 1898 addition. Across the way, Sayre’s original wine cellar still exists.
