Join the Jacobsburg Historical Society for a patriotic weekend remembering & honoring World World II and all veterans!

Saturday, June 27th 2026 | 10:00am – 4:00pm

Sunday, June 28th 2026 | 10:00am – 4:00pm

~The *Saturday 6/27 program* features:

12:00 Special program honoring all Veterans and Current Duty Military with the Nazareth Area Community Band and the Palmer Township American Legion Rifle Team presenting the colors.

2:30-3:30 Unique performance of WWII era music by the lovely Swingtime Dolls, see more at https://swingtimedolls.com

~The *Sunday 6/28 program* includes:

11:00 WWII Church Service takes place as a period battlefield service.

12:00 Flag Retirement Ceremony

Plus, experience these offerings on both Saturday & Sunday:

*Tour various Military Camps and talk with the participants.

*Examine the display of period military vehicles.

*Scheduled weapons demonstration will be presented.

*Learn more at a Holocaust Educational Exhibit that will be on display in our Visitor Center.

*Tour the 1832 J. Joseph Henry house museum, Pennsylvania Long Rifle Museum, Carriage Barn, Blacksmith Shop, and the Boat Shed. {{ NOTE: our historic buildings are open for self-guided tours on 6/27 and 6/28 from 10:00am-4:00pm. However, the final tour of the J. Joseph Henry house museum ends at 3:30pm }}.

*Browse goodies at the JHS Gift Shop, located in the PA Long Rifle Museum. { Proceeds from sales benefit JHS operations }.

*Enjoy a Hearth cooking demonstration in our Summer Kitchen (located next to the J. Joseph Henry house museum).

*Browse items for sale from WWII vendors.

*Savor tasty eats from Happy Tummy Food Truck.

ADMISSION: $10.00 / Adult

JHS Members with card, Current Duty Military, Veterans, Scouts in Uniform, and Children under 12 years of age are FREE.
