Starwatch

Join us for a star watch at the Tohickon Boat Launch parking lot. Participation is free and open to the public. The astronomers from Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association will have telescopes available to look through and will be on hand to answer questions. For our September Starwatch, we welcome our friend Saturn back to our early night sky. This ringed planet will be just about at opposition, offering great looks all night!
Dress warmly and bring binoculars or your own telescopes if you have them. Bug spray is recommended this time of year. We ask that you leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other participants and to prevent potential damage to delicate equipment.
Participants are welcome to join us at 7:30 for our pre-Starwatch talk, while we wait for darkness. Stargazing will commence closer to 8:00. Program will end promptly at 10:30.
