April 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
At the turn of the 20th century, 3D stereo photographs documented everything everywhere and millions were sold annually! No middle-class parlor was complete without a stereoviewer. Among the myriad of topics explored were industry and engineering works. Many of these images were aesthetically appealing and historically illuminating. Dr. John Smith, Lehigh University History Professor Emeritus, will walk us through the past as we marvel at the masterpieces of an earlier age!
