West Ward Peace and Light Night 2025

Coming up on December 7, 2025, the day after the annual West Ward Tree Lighting! If we need the rain date for the tree lighting, the rain date for WW Peace & Light will be on December 14.
This is an annual West Ward tradition that anyone can do. Each December, we join together to share lights in the neighborhood for peace, unity, and remembrance. This was started over ten years ago as a simple way to remember the love and light in our neighborhoods. It can be a single candle in a window or paper bag luminaria along the sidewalk or your steps. (note: electric tea lights recommended for safety!)
You can dedicate your lights to loved ones lost, or to your hopes for the future. It is a simple event to be part of with supplies that are easy to get! Check out the photo albums on this page for previous years! See pictures from your neighbors!
