What is the Hope Project? (India)

Hello Friends and Family, I would like to invite you all to a very special one-of-a-kind EVENT! Our dear friend, Samiur Rahman, will be traveling all the way from Delhi, India to our hometown of Easton, Pa for the very first time!

Samiur Rahman is the Executive Director of an incredible initiative called The Hope Project. He, along side Richard Cuadra, President of the Board from San Francisco will be giving a compelling presentation paired with catering light fare from Easton’s own Tandoor Grill as well as unique exposure to the music of India.

We will see you all on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at The Valley OM: Yoga and Bodywork from 2-5pm

The Event:
A very special presentation featuring an introduction to the Hope Project located in New Delhi, India, with Samiur Rahman, Hope Project Executive Director and Richard Cuadra, President of the Board of Directors. This event is sponsored by The Children’s Ashram Fund (https//childrensashramfund.org ) which serves The Hope Project in the United States.

The Hope Project India is a non-profit organization that has been serving the poor and disadvantaged children in Delhi and other nearby communities since 1975. This event will showcase how a small non-profit can plant seeds for growth in areas such as education, health care, and vocational training. Located in a deeply impoverished neighborhood of Delhi, the Hope Project has supported a new generation of possibilities.

We are truly excited that Samiur and Richard will be traveling to Easton from India and California for this event. Samiur will speak in detail about the programs offered at the Hope Project and their impact on the communities, families, students, and homeless children they serve. Richard will present the challenges and the rewards of volunteering and connecting communities around the world.

In addition to the presentations there will be music, a silent auction, and delicious light fare courtesy of Easton’s Tandoor Grill Restaurant.
