Zoning Hearing
January 15 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We had a HUGE win on Wednesday December 3rd with Easton Planning Commission voting unanimously against Scannell Properties’ 1 million square-foot mega-warehouse development read the final decision here
But of course – there is more work to be done.
Scannell (Wood Ave PropCo llc) and Wilson Borough have filed a lawsuit against the City of Easton, Easton Planning Commission, and every individual commissioner on Planning. But the City of Easton and our region will not be bullied by an out-of-state speculative developer through their attorney Mark Kaplin, or Wilson Borough through their current solicitor Stan Margle III read the suit here
And so the fight continues. We will be back in Easton Zoning on January 15th to ensure the special exception to build in the FEMA designated flood zone and the rerouting of Springbrook gets rejected. The Easton Planning Commission already voted unanimously AGAINST a positive recommendation for this exception. There will be time for public comments that pertain to the special exception only, please try to keep any comments short and to the point. We have have a fantastic legal team and experts that have guided us through the zoning hearing, so let them do the heavy lifting prior to the final vote.
