PALMER TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY WEEKEND is the social event of the year in Palmer Township, where friends and family young and old come together for fun-filled days and nights of food, rides, music and much more! There is a special feeling each and every year, and that feeling is COMMUNITY.
The first Community Weekend was organized in 1984 by Eddie Grube and Don Campbell. The tradition was carried on for almost 40 years by Eddie’s daughter Diane Grube and members of the Grube family, with the support of the Board of Supervisors and Township staff. The legacy has now been passed on to a committee of Township staff.
