Pathways Out of Poverty Conference

Misericordia University is proud to present Pathways Out of Poverty, a one-day conference dedicated to addressing the complex challenges of poverty in northeastern Pennsylvania. Join state and national leaders, educators, and community organizations as they explore solutions for supporting our region’s most vulnerable families.

The event will feature keynote presentations by prominent leaders, including Dr. Kimberly McCurdy from Pennsylvania’s Department of Education, Lori Boozer of the Robin Hood Foundation’s Mobility LABs, developers of the Parent Pathways of Northeastern Pennsylvania program, and inspiring stories from remarkable student parents. Our nationally recognized afternoon keynote speaker, Dr. Reverend William Barber II, will share his powerful insights as a leader, author, and advocate.

This is an opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to shaping a brighter future for families in need. Whether you’re an educator, non-profit leader, or community advocate, this conference will provide you with valuable resources and knowledge to make a real difference.

Join us at Misericordia University for this important conversation on how we can create lasting pathways out of poverty.
