Pressed Blooms: A Beginner’s Woodworking Workshop

September 6 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm

A lush green wooded area with trees, grass, and a dog sitting on the lawn, captured during springtime in a peaceful outdoor setting.

First date for this event is Saturday April 11, second opportunity (repeat class) is Sunday September 6th.

We currently have one space left for the 4/11 session. ❤️❤️

Join us on the farm for a hands-on introduction to woodworking—where nature meets creativity. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn to use basic tools to craft a beautiful, functional flower press from raw wood. No prior experience needed—just bring your curiosity and love for the natural world!

We’ll guide you through measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling your press while surrounded by the very flowers and foliage you’ll one day preserve. Along the way, we’ll explore the joy of creating with our hands, the magic of slowing down, and the beauty of capturing fleeting moments in bloom.

You’ll leave with your own handmade flower press and the skills to start pressing wildflowers, garden treasures, or keepsakes from nature walks—plus a deeper connection to both wood and wildness.

Registration is confirmed upon payment. Payment can be made with Venmo (Rivendell_Farms).

Cost is $85 for the two hour workshop. Please pack a lunch. Tea will be provided.

We will offer one needs based spot on this day for a discounted rate of the materials fee.
