The Coopersburg Historical Society is pleased to present a talk by Lehigh University geology professor Frank J. Pazzaglia on the geologic context and significance of the dinosaur tracks that were formerly exposed along Route 309 just South of Coopersburg. Enjoy a deep-history talk on the geology of the Saucon Valley, understand why rocks that include dinosaur fossils are exposed in Coopersburg, and learn about the type of dinosaur that made those footprints.
A brief history of the discovery and theft of the dinosaur tracks will be shared by the Coopersburg Historical Society directly before Prof. Pazzagalia’s presentation.
