How to Add Your Business to the Business Finder
Add your business in about 10 minutes.
Free listings are free forever — no card required. Here’s the whole process, start to finish.
1. Start your listing
Go to the plans page and choose your plan — Start Free for the Community Listing.
You’ll see a notice that you need to be logged in. That’s normal! Click the “Here” link to create your account.
2. Create your account
Register with your email and choose a password. You’ll get a welcome email right away — keep it, it has your dashboard link. After registering, you’ll land back on the listing form.
3. Fill out your listing
Write your description the way you’d describe your business to a neighbor. You can edit everything later.
4. Check out (yes, even for free)
Free listings go through a quick $0 checkout — this is what creates your account records. Fill in your billing details, check the terms box, and click Place Order. You will not be charged and no card is requested.
After you place the order, you’re done submitting. Your listing comes to us for a quick review — usually well within 24 hours. You’ll get an email the moment it’s approved and live.
5. Managing your listing
Your listing lives at your Listing Dashboard: eastonpost.com/dashboard/ — bookmark it.
Heads up: the “Dashboard” tab inside My Account is a different page — that one’s for orders and account details. Your listing is always at /dashboard/.
To edit your listing:
- Go to your dashboard and click Edit on your listing.
- Make your changes.
- Scroll to the bottom — check the “I’m not a robot” box first, then click Preview Changes. (Skipped the checkbox? You’ll see a “Verification failed” message — just scroll back down, check the box, and click again.)
- Don’t worry about the “You are about to publish” message — for edits, it just means save. Your listing stays live the whole time.
6. Logging out and back in
- Log in: click My Account in the top bar.
- Log out: go to My Account, then click Log out in the right-hand menu.
- Forgot your password? Use the “Lost your password?” link on the login page — the reset email arrives within a minute or two.
