I lost my soul dog recently and wanted a memorial to her. I spoke to Sarah and she drew up a great design. It has turned wonderful and I was so impressed with 5th layer and the tattoo I got. I highly recommend Sarah and the entire 5th Layer vibe. I’d show a photo but I got the second skin and can post in a few days.

Sara Faye is my go to for any piercing, I’ve had many piercings done at other shops and she’s the only piercer I go to now 🙂 she did an amazing job piercing my Medusa! My boyfriend got two dermals done by her and she did such a great job. I even convinced my mom to go to her for her second lobes and she loves them so much!!! If you’re ever unsure of who to go to, Sara is one of the most knowledgeable piercers in the area!

About a month ago I made an appointment with Tina B after somebody canceled.
Tina B is a talented, patient and thoughtful tattoo artist! I love the flash piece they did on me. They have a lot of amazing (mostly American Traditional inspired) designs to choose from at reasonable rates. They gave me plenty of time to look over flash in person, didn’t rush me at all and even slightly modified the drawing for my comfort. They didn’t make me feel bad about asking questions or for being a bit anxious.
They made sure I was happy with the tattoo and comfortable the entire time. It was the best experience I ever had at a shop.
Bonus points for playing Antique Roadshow in the background while tattooing me. & for the cute little after care package (a bottle of antibacterial soap and lotion, along with a zine that had instructions on healing the tattoo).
The shop itself is a very clean and welcoming environment!
Though the shop isn’t very close to where I live, I’d definitely take the trek again to be tatted by Tina B!

I was tattooed by Tina B and had such a great experience that I will be going back! I tasked Tina with a memorial piece for my favorite chicken. I sent a few reference photos of Soy (my chicken), some native plants that I love and a couple designs that I enjoyed. What they came up with was better than I could have imagined. I was so happy with the design, and the tattoo is so well done with stunning colors. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend 5th Layer to anyone!

This place is amazing. I followed my artist Cami here when she moved shops, but everyone else here has absolutely stunning work as well. The shop is a very comfortable environment and well decorated. My most recent trip here was actually to take my brother for his first tattoo, and it was great. Cami has lots of stuff to help a client be comfortable including stress balls, stuffed animals, and even snacks. I would recommend Cami or anyone in this shop a thousand times over.
