Well worth the visit, you can tell the passion behind the exhibits (and the staff when they get to show them off), and the machines were very interesting in their details and function.
First time here and so much more interesting than I thought it would be! Toured on our own along with our friends. So much local history. A hidden gem! Be sure to eat at The Social Still afterwards!
It was a great experience, and we enjoyed it very much. You could walk around for a reasonable amount of time. Many people explained how things work and the place’s history. It was fascinating to hear them and learn how much effort they put into the museum!
This place is awsome. The staff were helpful and courteous. Exhibits are well layed out and clearly described. They have a switcher outside that you can touch, As well as numerous interactive exhibits inside. There is a outdoor area across from the main hall with more cool stuff. Overall great place.
This museum is incredibly educational and deeply important in preserving America’s industrial heritage. Housed in a historic Bethlehem Steel building, it offers a powerful look at how industry shaped our country—from steel and silk to propane and machinery. The exhibits are interactive, thoughtfully curated, and filled with real stories from workers and innovators.
I especially appreciated the connections to local and national history, as well as the way it made complex topics accessible for all ages. It’s a great destination for families, students, and anyone who wants to understand the role industry played in building modern America. Highly recommended!
