Love this park for walking the trail along the river. Palmer township does a great job in maintaining the grounds and the walkways.
The only issue I have is that during the winter months people don’t feel they have to cleanup after their dogs. The trail and snow banks along the trail is littered with dog droppings. Be respectful and cleanup after your dogs. The Parks & Recreation Department shouldn’t have to clean up after you. They have to maintain their equipment and after snow removal or mowing shouldn’t have to deal with all the dog waste on their equipment.

The site was used for a walk. We walked a considerable distance and enjoyed the autumn sunshine and foliage. There were a number of people using the park in a variety of ways including running and hiking and riding bikes. The hiking path is very level and has been covered over. It’s an interesting walk along the river and has a multitude of other trails and paths that span the area. There are benches along the trail for the distance we covered. The field we saw had organized baseball games being played. This area also had some picnic tables but not an abundance. There was a restroom in this area and parking facilities. Some of the parking spaces were used by the sports teams. There was no trouble accessing the parking, the benches, the restrooms or trails. The people we met were all friendly. The access road to the park requires a turn near a sign saying closed roadway. Car traffic is a bit fast and we missed the turn on our first try. A very beautiful and enjoyable day.

I love this park. Very clean and well maintained. There is a ball field and restrooms available during summer. There is plenty of parking and a playground for the kids. Great place to take a walk, run, or bike.

Stroller friendly-ish. Some parts of the trail are not well maintained. You have to push harder to cope with the steep slope 🙂 nice picnic area and play ground
