Very good experience at this hotel. I like that the rooms offer extra space and kitchen (with a large fridge). Cable TV offers a better selection of channels than most Marriots. People who work here are also very nice, which is a big plus.

I want to give a special *shout-out* to Ilford, Heather, Christina, Tia, T, and I’m sure there are a couple more people I am forgetting names to acknowledge. They truly made our stay be as comfortable as possible, and accommodated our needs – above & beyond! We started off in a room that had a couple of things that needed to be updated/fixed, and we went straight to the desk to let them know, and they were quick to accommodate and make the changes needed for our stay. They were in the middle of making some updates within the hotel, and also – to anyone who stays at a hotel: Hotel staff doesn’t always know exactly which room may have some issues – unless you tell them & make them aware!–So tell them and let them know so that they can make the necessary updates/repairs. After we made them aware, they were quick to try to help resolve this issue, and we were able to be moved to a different room that accommodated our needs, and our stay went a lot smoother. We also have 2 young children, and I have to say that the hotel is very kid/family-friendly!-(they also have a gym, which was very cute; and they also have an indoor pool, but we were too busy with plans with the relatives to try these amenities out – maybe next time!). The hotel had cute decorations all over the lobby (we were there during the Christmas season, right after Christmas, and were in town for a funeral); the hotel even had Elf on the Shelf! The breakfast was great (also accommodates any gluten-free and/or dairy-free diets), as they offered a variety of foods (both hot and cold). The location is also great (near a lot of shops and restaurants). And as fate would have it…At the end of our stay, our car battery died (right as we were about to pull out of the parking lot, car all packed up), and one of the hotel staff offered to help jump-start our car with her cables. We also tried our cables with her car too (again – hotel staff ready to help with anything you might need! – above & beyond!!). But unfortunately, nothing worked, so we resorted to calling AAA and ended up waiting for AAA to come to us at the hotel parking lot. While we waited for AAA, we were able to wait inside the hotel lobby (mind you, it was very very cold outside! – AND we had our 2 young children with us who were very confused as to why our car wouldn’t work & we were unable to leave!). AAA was fortunately able to replace our dead battery (and there were no other complications with the car!) and we were on our way, headed back home! But I have to say – the hotel staff was very accommodating to us every single step of the way – from our first day there – all the way until our attempt to depart (as we faced those car challenges). They made sure that we were comfortable and that our kids were having a good time (especially when our car battery died and we were a little bit “stranded” for a beat there). Our family is very grateful for all that the staff did for us during our stay, and also with the little hiccup that we experienced as we were trying to depart! Thank you all so much for your care and for tending to the needs of your hotel guests, and for your attention to detail! Whenever we are back in town, we look forward to staying at this hotel again!
