We come here alot. I dont know if this gentlemen is the owner…we got there and asked what time they closed…he said about 1/2 hr. We said oh we would come back another time we dont want to keep people longer than need be. But he insisted we come in and take our time. We paid for the meal as soon as we knew the total so they could close the card machine for the day. Everyone was really nice. We now know closing and we dont ever go that late. Would they take us…probably…but im taking advantage of that. People want to go home after work not satu later for people who cant tell time! We could tell time we didnt know they closed that early is all. So thank you for taking us and making us feel at home while you guys were closin up shop. Much appreciated.

Had the Yankee pot roast special. I would’ve preferred a few more root vegetables, but it was very savory and very tender and our server was exceptional. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name. She had long dark hair and glasses, slight accent in case the owners are reading. Excellent server. While the menu seemed more limited than most diners, I would definitely return and hope that the pot roast was on the menu again! My mom had the sausage and peppers and was very happy. It was also another special. We both had the chicken noodle soup and it was delicious.

This restaurant can handle large parties with separate rooms for overflow and large parties. We went here after a recent family event. With a party of almost 30 people, they were able to accommodate us. They deftly asked how we wanted to break up the check before ordering, which is rare. Drinks were on the house (fountain drinks) which was nice. We ordered mostly breakfast but also tried general fare. Overall the food was fine, breakfast and lunch items were very good but dinner entrees were just ok. We ordered the meat loaf expecting something a bit more, but were disappointed, it failed to meet expectations, maybe we received the last portion of the overall dish, but it failed to please. Service was good/very good. The main waitress was excellent but her helper seemed unable to accommodate most requests. Large parties can be a terror and good helpers can make the difference. I would come back again and eat here, it’s a fine establishment for breakfast and lunch, dinner I would have to come back for a very more times to determine the validity of the dinner menu.

This place always looks busy, but it worked out that we stopped today. $50 for 2 adults and 1 child. Service is great. We were immediately greeted and seated at a clean table. Server was there quickly. We had drinks right away. The table was already stocked with condiments- that were full. Our order was taken and perfectly executed. The food was delicious. It was a neat perfect experience. We were there about 3pm ish, by design so that it wasn’t crowded. It was obvious to me they’re used to busy and seem to have everything under control. Even the parking lot was being cleaned as we left- that is such an important detail for me and shows the owner and staff have pride in their business. The menu has a lot of options and you can get breakfast after 11 am. We all left happy and full. Adding first place to our favorites list.
